Fourth, the plastic surgeon should put you on some medication before and after the procedure that will help reduce the swelling and bruising. Fifth, the plastic surgeon should provide you will some skin cream to apply to the surgical area to help speed the healing. Most of these creams will help assist with swelling as well.
Just keep in mind that the more experienced a plastic surgeon is, the faster your recovery time will be as well. Make sure that they are certified by the board and have either been practicing for about five years, or have done some serious shadowing and training with the best doctors in the country.
